DEEP Tamper Base

Our tamper bases, compatible with all ERGO and FLAG tamper handles, can make all the difference. Based on studies carried out under the close supervision of certified and experienced baristas, we have succeeded in creating a range of tamper bases that make their contribution to every coffee.Choosing the right tamper base for the right blend can be the determining factor in the taste and texture of the coffee.

Tamper Base Deep: Material AISI316. The use of this base increases the acidity of coffees extracted from robusta blends, which helps to mitigate their strong flavour.  The very deep grooves of the Convex Deep have produced excellent results on different types of blend:

• Increased acidity and more body on light roasts;
• Increased acidity on Robusta blend with positive effect because it mitigates the typical strong taste of robusta.
